the super llama is awesome, i think you need to re-draw it as a normal art image!

I know what you mean, if you want to rotate a sprite then you need to move every 2 pixel sized column one way and then every 2 pixel row the other way. When you do this on something as big as a bridge you wast a hell load of time!

I bet! I used to use Paint to draw stuff, and then I used Adobe Illustrator for the first time.. There's no comparison between the two. I used to be pretty good at using Paint, but after using Illustrator I just can't do it anymore lol The Window's 7 Paint is a lot better than the 98 Paint though, it has come a long way. But it can still be pretty frustrating Xp

I think the win 98 paint was more controlled but the new win 7 paint looks like it is made for kids because they put useless things onto it like the soft brushes. (The old one had clean shapes) They did put one nice thing on the new one, the ability to zoom out past 100% for when you’re doing big images. To sum up paint in one word (as you said) "frustrating"!

Yeah, I liked 98 Paint because it was so simple. Win 7 Paint just seemed to add a bunch of "fancy" features and stuff. But I think what makes Paint so frustrating is that it doesn't have layers or objects. Like as soon as you put down a color on a pixel, that's it, it's now part of the picture. It's fine for small things, but for bigger things, it can be a reeeeal pain when you want to change something. You can't just pick up an object you drew and move it (easily) XP

Well i gess thay both have there good and bad points and this has been an intelligent conversation even if it was about a free art tool. Back to Illustrator, It looks like a less shiny photoshop so well done for useing something that professional!

hahaha yeah XD I love Illustrator so much.. It's actually a lot more different than Photoshop than most people think. I think Photoshop is best for photo-manipulations, effects, editing, painting, stuff like that, but I like to use Illustrator for typography and drawing. I like Illustrator because it gives good, clean lines, where Photoshop can get kind of pixelated with type and lines. But it really depends on what you're doing....and how much computer memory you want to spend on making high-res pictures. In my opinion, Illustrator is a lot easier to use, but Photoshop can do some really neat stuff :]

Photoshop is what I'm wanting to get when I have a good computer and I understand why people find it unusual. I was told that if and when I get Photoshop not even 10% of its features will be used. I understand what you mean by it not being a vector art program most of the time, and it can take a lot of understanding. Think of it like this, you can do next to everything other programs can do, but you will be lost (with the complexity) at how to do it. You may need some photoshop extensions like more fonts / type faces to be more professional with typography.
